自分は毎回楽曲制作の際に、コンセプトというものに基づいて作った事が無く、

 特にゼロの状態から何かを作る時には、

音を作る段階で、自分が気持ちいいと感じる音から始まり、

その後はフィーリングで進めていく事が多いです。

今回は３曲とも、日常の音楽が流れてない瞬間に、

こういったフレーズが突然流れ始めたらどうだろうか？という

想像を頭の中でしながら作りましたが、

明確なコンセプトというものは存在しません。

各曲共に短い尺ではありますが、時間をかけて作りました。

東京を拠点に活動する音楽家。

現在までに2枚のフルアルバムを発表。

たった2作品、いずれも国内流通のみにも関わらずそのレスポンスはすさまじく、

国内はもちろん海外からも熱い支持を得る。

2009年にリリースし、昨今のシーンでは未だに異例のセールスを記録中、大きな 話題を呼んでいる最新作”The Nothings of The North”は、 坂本龍一の「2009年のベストディスク」に選出され、ドイツの老舗レーベルMille Plateauxから今年5月、見事にライセンス・リリースが決定。

Clammbonのリミックスや、Vladislav DelayやFennesz、AOKI takamasa、

竹村延和 、つじこのりこ等との共演を重ねる。

d.v.dやworld’s end girlfriendなどで活躍するドラマーJimanicaとのコラボレー ションも始まり、Jimanica×Ametsub としてのミニアルバムが2007年にリリース。

初ライブではPARA、clammbon、toeと 共演。

また、“Sonarsound Tokyo”、“Sense Of Wonder”、“渚音楽祭”、“Summer Sonic 09”などの大型フェスティバルにも出演を果たし、2008年夏にはアイスランドでのライブも敢行。

新たに始まった音楽フェスティバル、De La Fantasiaでは、

高橋幸宏や小山田圭吾(Cornelius)、Ryoji Ikeda、Carsten Nicolaiらと共演。

そのライブは大きな反響を呼び、2009年の大型カウントダウンイベントへ、Mixmaster Morris やDJ Krushらと共に出演という成果を収める。

暗く美しい唯一無二の世界観と、壮大な情景を描写する様な音楽性はアンダーグラウンドなファンから絶大な支持を仰ぎ、リアルタイム / 即興性などを重視した、エレクトロニック・ミュージックの根底から決してブレる事のない姿勢は、大きな注目を集めている。

Ametsub acts based in Tokyo.

He participated in [ v.a. forma 2.03 ] that was released from PROGRESSIVE FOrM at the age of 20, he got reputation of the best track of this album.

1st album [ Linear Cryptics ] has released from PROGRESSIVE FOrM in 2006. Its album found a lot of response, and He played the live at sonarsound tokyo of which the origin is sonarsound of world’s largest electronic music festival, His show by Game-Boy(NINTENDO) also attracts audience. 

The remix works of Clammbon, Tujiko Noriko and overseas artists.

The participation in some compilation album.

Afterwards, He co-stared with Vladislav Delay, Fennesz, Bichi (Blue Foundation), AOKI takamasa, Takemura Nobukazu, Tujiko Noriko and many brilliant artists.

In 2007, He appeared on the stage of big music festival named “Sense of Wonder”.

His show that enchanted a lot of audiences was elected telecast of space shower TV, as a result, appearance on the stage to next year’s same festival were decided.

In summer 2008, He played the live in Laugavegur 22, Reykjavik, ICELAND !

As “Jimanica x Ametsub”, the irregular collaboration with Jimanica (d.v.d, world’s end girlfriend, de de mouse) started and released a mini album called [ surge ].

They co-stared with PARA, clammbon, toe, Furukawa Miki(supercar), iLL and they achieved to do the show at Nagisa Music Festival.

Long-awaited the 2nd album [ The Nothings of The North] has released in Feb 2009.

It has gotten an large evaluation from Ryuichi Sakamoto and mito (Clammbon)and Yagya etc. 

His most new work “The Nothings of The North” causing a big topic is picked on “The Best Disk of 2009” by Ryuichi Sakamoto, and license-release is decided from German long-established store label Mille Plateaux wonderfully in this May.

Now, it is recording hit-sales of the exception.

And he appeared for a big festival called Nagisa music festival’09, Summer Sonic Festival’09.

In new music festival called De La Fantasia, he co-stared with Yukihiro Takahashi and Keigo Oyamada(Cornelius), Ryoji Ikeda, Carsten Nicolai. His live-show caused a big reaction and obtained dazzling result to appear for a big countdown event with Mixmaster Morris and DJ Krush of 2009-2010. 

An organically melody enchants a lot of audiences also in his live performance. The one and only, warm rhythm surely dances the listener.

His music has dark beautiful original view of the world. It looks like to drawing the magnificent, impressive scene.

The musicality gets great support from underground big fan.

His style without deviating from the root of the electronic music… 

it is calling the big interest now.
