東京出身のアーティストYasuhiko Fukuzonoによるプロジェクト。

主に海外レーベルから多数のアルバムを発表しており、日常の音を巧みに取り入れた繊細なサウンドプロダクション、透明感溢れる美しい旋律に彩られた作品の数々は世界中に熱狂的なファンを持つ。これまでにSummer Sonic, De La Fantasia, Sonar Sound Tokyoなどのフェスティバルに出演。Gutevolk、Itokenとのユニットmita kuuluu他、リミキサー、プロデューサーとしても数々の作品を手がけており、今年に入って人気バンドStraightenerがバンド初のリミキサーとして起用し、話題を呼んだ。またレコード・レーベルflauを主宰し、The BoatsやHenning Schmiedt、Kumisoloなどジャンルの枠に捉われない魅力的な作品を数多く発表している。

aus is the solo project of Yasuhiko Fukuzono who was born in Tokyo and the owners of a record label flau (released the boats, cokiyu, henning schmiedt, kumisolo, etc…). He started to make music for experimental films when he was still a teenager. He has released 5 albums so far and his “Lang” album (2005) on Preco became a huge hit throughout Japan. And the “Lang” remix album gathered many popular musicians like Ulrich Schnauss, Manual, Joshua Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv) and Kettel, Isan, Bracken, Dosh etc.

aus has performed at SonarSound Tokyo 2006, Tokyo Mid-Town Openeng Showcase, Summer Sonic Festival 2009, De La Fantasia Festival and has done remixes for many international acts, also producing for foreign artists. Recently, aus co-founded post-pop ensemble Mita Kuuluu with gutevolk and itoken. 

He has gained attention worldwide through his skillful and delicate sound production, combining electronics with sounds from daily life so exquisitely.

The music video of the track “With rain” (included in the album “Curveland”) made by Takafumi Tsuchiya was nominated in the music video category at the world famous visual festival Aurora 2007 among BECK, Zero7 and Subtle.
